Keanu Reeves is currently in the process of shooting the sequel to his critically acclaimed blockbuster, John Wick, and according to a batch of recent photos, he'll be joined by an old friend.
Gothamist published a set of photos that pictured Laurence Fishburne on set with Reeves, surrounded by various cameras. Although Fishburne isn't listed on the official "IMDB" page for John Wick 2, Fishburne's reps confirmed to Variety that the actor, who co-starred with Reeves in The Matrix trilogy, does have a minor role in the movie.
Not much else is known about the sequel, but fans were given an unofficial first look a couple of weeks ago when footage of Reeves on set was leaked online.
The only question that remains now is whether or not Fishburne and Reeves will give any kind of nod to their previous work together on The Matrix trilogy.
John Wick 2 is scheduled to be released sometime next year.
