Dustforce's incredible soundtrack getting limited-edition vinyl pressing from iam8bit

Samit Sarkar (he/him) is Polygon’s deputy managing editor. He has more than 15 years of experience covering video games, movies, television, and technology.

The list of video game vinyl records from iam8bit is growing with Lifeformed's lovely soundtrack to Dustforce, the 2012 indie platformer from Hitbox Team, iam8bit announced today.

The soundtrack was released on its own as an album called Fastfall in January 2012; you can listen to it below. Dustforce debuted a week earlier than its soundtrack on Windows PC, and was later released on Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Xbox 360.

The LP from iam8bit will be pressed on 150-gram vinyl in a limited edition of 1,000 copies, each of which will include the full digital soundtrack and a Steam key for the game. You can check out the album art by Drew Wise below. Pre-orders for the $25 vinyl package will open at 9 a.m. PT tomorrow, Dec. 3, at iam8bit.
