The next chapter in the Tales role-playing series, Tales of Berseria, will come west on the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC in 2016, Bandai Namco announced today.

The announcement is one of several coming from the annual Jump Festa event in Tokyo that is underway this week. Tales of Berseria, announced back in June, is the 16th edition in the Tales franchise and follows this year's Tales of Zestiria, which launched in October on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

Tales of Berseria is supposed to launch in Japan in 2016. No launch window was given for its American release.

Other news from Jump Festa:

  • Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force will launch in North America in 2016 on PlayStation Vita only.
  • The 3D brawler JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven will come west in 2016 on PlayStation 4.
  • God Eater Resurrection, the remake of God Eater Burst, and God Eater 2: Rage Burst, an enhanced edition of God Eater 2, will also get western releases. Resurrection launched in Japan in October and Rage Burst was a 2013 release there.
  • And One Piece: Burning Blood added Windows PC to its launch platforms. It had already been announced for PlayStation 4, PS Vita and Xbox One.
