Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Killer Instinct among Xbox's Games with Gold in January

Microsoft confirmed the four titles offered as part of the Xbox Games with Gold program next month, which will be available for free as part of an Xbox Live Gold subscription starting Jan. 1.

Killer Instinct: Season 1 Ultra Edition will kick off the new year for Xbox One gamers. The latest take on the classic fighting game series will be available for free for the entirety of January.

Also available on Jan. 1 is Dirt Showdown for Xbox 360. You'll have until Jan. 15 to grab the most recent entry in the Colin McRae Rally series, after which another popular 360 game will takes its place as the free offer. Eidos Montreal's stealth shooter Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be free from Jan. 16 through Jan. 31, as will co-op sidescroller Zheros for Xbox One.

All four games are only free for the month of January — and only for Gold members of Xbox Live.
