At this point, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has shattered tons of records, but the movie's showing no sign of slowing down.
After raking in $248 million domestically (officially beating Jurassic World's $208.8 million) and amassing over $524 million worldwide during its opening weekend, The Force Awakens has also broken the record for Monday and Tuesday box office sales.
According to BoxOffice, the film made $37.3 million yesterday, making it the most profitable film to play on a Tuesday. The title spot was previously held by The Amazing Spider-Man, which made $35 million.
The Force Awakens also broke records for top movie at the box office on a Monday, taking in $40.1 million and surpassing Spider-Man 2's record of $27.6 million.
Worldwide, The Force Awakens has already made $689.4 million, with analysts estimating that it will cross the billion-dollar mark in no time.
James Cameron's Avatar still holds the record for the highest-grossing film worldwide. In order to beat that, The Force Awakens will need to pull in at least $2.88 billion worldwide.
