Mass Effect: Andromeda loses one of its top developers

Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.

A top developer on the forthcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda has left BioWare.

Chris Wynn said goodbye to BioWare and Mass Effect in a tweet one week ago, though he didn't give any reason for his departure or what he'll be working on now. Wynn had been the senior development director on Mass Effect: Andromeda.

BioWare made the following statement to Game Informer:

Chris was a great member of the team. We want to thank him for his contributions and we wish him the best in his new adventures. Development of Mass Effect: Andromeda continues to move full speed ahead at BioWare Montreal, Edmonton and Austin.

Mass Effect: Andromeda, the fourth edition in the spacefaring RPG series, was given a holiday 2016 launch window when the title of the game was announced at E3 2015.
