The Game Awards brings price cuts to PlayStation Store

In anticipation of The Game Awards, which streams live online tonight, the PlayStation Store is offering gamers the chance to check out several of the nominees at a discount until Dec. 5.

Included in the sale are indie titles like Rocket League and Axiom Verge, both of which are on sale for $13.99; Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain for $44.99 on PlayStation 4 and $37.49 on PlayStation 3; the complete season of Life is Strange for $10.00 on both PS4 and PS3; and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for $25.00.

More recent releases like Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 are also available at lower prices. Both cost $49.79 on PS4.

Steam and Xbox Live are also offering similar sales on nominated games.

The sale runs from now until Dec. 5. Be sure to peruse the full list of nominees before The Game Awards begins at 9 p.m. ET tonight.
