Shaq shows off Shaq-Fu sequel at The Game Awards (update)

Basketball star Shaquille O'Neal took to the stage at tonight's The Game Awards to show off a new trailer for the sequel to his classic '90s video game Shaq-Fu. He debuted the latest teaser for Indiegogo project Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn, showing off some of its characters and martial arts-focused action. You can watch it above.

Shaq and developer Big Deez Productions launched the crowdfunding campaign for the sequel to Shaq-Fu back in March 2014. The game surpassed its goal of $450,000, and will launch on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn is set for release in 2016.

Update: Big Deez Productions announced Dec. 4 that it plans to release Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn in 2016. We've edited the article to reflect this.
