Sony is bringing back its PlayStation 4 free online multiplayer promotion this weekend, allowing PS4 owners to play games online without a PlayStation Plus subscription, the company announced today.

The free period will run for three days, from 12:01 a.m. PT on Friday, Dec. 11, through 11:59 p.m. PT on Sunday, Dec. 13. During that time, all PS4 owners will simply be able to boot up a multiplayer game of their choosing and start playing. This is the first time Sony has offered this deal since March. A PlayStation Plus subscription usually costs $49.99 per year.

Sony is reviving the promotion just in time for Destiny's new Sparrow Racing League, which launches later today and will be available for three weeks. Another title people might be interested in is Star Wars Battlefront — the game's Battle of Jakku add-on is now available to all players, allowing them to fight it out on the planet of Jakku 29 years before its appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which opens in 10 days.
