Sceptile is the latest Pokémon to join Pokkén Tournament

A new challenger comes to the Pokémon fighting game

The roster of Bandai Namco's arcade fighting game Pokkén Tournament is evolving: Grass-type Pokémon Sceptile is coming in an update, according to a new trailer.

Sceptile will bring the roster of playable characters in Pokkén Tournament to 11. The newly confirmed Pokémon joins Blaziken, Charizard, Gardevoir, Gengar, Lucario, Machamp, Pikachu (and Pikachu Libre), Suicune and Weavile.

The Sceptile trailer also confirms two new support Pokémon: Electrode and Farfetch'd.

Pokkén Tournament is currently playable in Japanese arcades and at select Dave & Buster's locations in the U.S.Wii U version of the game, which will feature Mewtwo as a playable character, is coming spring 2016.
