2015 BAFTA Games Awards nominations topped by Alien: Isolation, Monument Valley

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) revealed its list of nominees for this year's British Academy Games Awards today, with Alien: Isolation, Far Cry 4 and Monument Valley leading the way.

The Creative Assembly's tense horror game received nods in six categories, while Ubisoft Montreal's open-world blockbuster and Ustwo's meditative mobile puzzler (screenshot above) tied for second place with five nominations each. Alien: Isolation and Monument Valley are both up for Best Game. In all, 51 different games were recognized across 17 categories.

You can check out the full list of nominees below and on the BAFTA website. BAFTA will hand out the 2015 British Academy Games Awards in London on March 12. The ceremony, which will be hosted by actor and comedian Rufus Hound, will be livestreamed on Twitch.
