Another Resistance game is losing its multiplayer features. Sony announced today that Resistance: Retribution, the 2009 Sony Bend game released for PlayStation Portable, will have its online features disabled on May 5.

Last year, Sony discontinued online services for PlayStation 3 games Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2 and Resistance 3. That leaves one Resistance game, PlayStation Vita title Resistance: Burning Skies, as the last multiplayer bastion for fans of the series.

Resistance: Retribution was set between the events of the original Resistance and Resistance 2. The PSP game starred British Royal Marine James Grayson who battled the Chimera throughout Europe. Resistance: Retribution featured a handful of multiplayer modes for up to eight players.
