James Bond — armed, serious and dressed in black — stands in stark contrast to the white mountains that surround him in the first image released from Spectre, the upcoming 24th installment in the film series.
The still frame of actor Daniel Craig, who manages to look cool in glasses nobody has any business wearing, shows a sliver of Bond in an action sequence.
"We have to deliver an amazing sequence and this is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie," associate producer Gregg Wilson says in the behind the scenes video below. "It’s going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off."
Director Sam Mendes announced Spectre last December alongside Bond’s new car, the Aston Martin DB10. It’s scheduled for a Nov. 6, 2015 release.
