You might remember Hand of Fate, Defiant Development's deckbuilding action-RPG, from its Early Access launch on Steam last year. Earlier this week, the game launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, bringing its unique genre-fusion — not to mention the new content that was added to its Early Access iteration — to a whole new audience. An assumedly masochistic audience, one which doesn't mind designing the dungeon that will likely kill or maim their hero.
Check out the Overview above to see myself and Polygon newcomer Nick Robinson take a crack at the updated version of Hand of Fate, which is out now on the Xbox One and PlayStation Store for $19.99.
Update: An earlier version of this post neglected to mention the game launched on Xbox One as well. We have added that information to the article, and apologize for the error.
