Platinum Games has a new way for you to kill time (and angels) this morning: a retro-style browser game in which the star of Bayonetta delivers pixelated bullet justice.
The game is available to play on Platinum's website under its 404 error section. If it looks familiar, that's because Platinum Games released a video of "Angel Land," which you can view below, back in 2010 as an April Fool's joke. The current version of Angel Land differs slightly from its jokey counterpart; you still hop and shoot oncoming angels, but you do so from one spot. Like its console counterparts, it's harder than it looks.
You can play the browser game in Internet Explorer 9 and above, the latest versions of Chrome, FireFox, Safari and on iOS 7 or above.
Platinum Games released Bayonetta 2 exclusively for Wii U last year. For more on the game, check out our review.
