In his latest video, outspoken game critic Jim Sterling takes Nintendo to task for its "Creator's Program," a scheme designed to limit the Nintendo game footage people can upload to YouTube and share ad revenue with Nintendo for "approved" game footage.
He comes out with guns blazing, first explaining the program as if the company in question were EA, then explaining the policy. "Nintendo has a long history of 'not getting it' when it comes to YouTube and the new age of transformative work," he says, echoing the sentiments of YouTube superstar PewDiePie last week, when he bashed the new program.
