Microsoft Studios is bringing its Halo: Nightfall webseries to DVD and Blu-ray on March 17, the company announced today alongside the release of a new trailer for the title. You can check out the video in full below.
News of this physical release follows last week's announcement that a digital version would become available. The digital release is also planned for March 17.
Microsoft previously confirmed plans to turn the Ridley Scott-produced series into a single, feature-length release for physical release and video-on-demand. So far there's no word on when the live-action series will be brought to on-demand services.
Halo: Nightfall tells the origin story of Jameson Locke, a "a legendary manhunter and agent with the Office of Naval Intelligence." Locke is also the playable co-star of next year's Halo 5: Guardians and will be played by actor Mike Colter.
