Like many folks, I missed Xenoblade Chronicles the first time around when it (finally) launched in North America back in 2012. However, Polygon's own Phil Kollar did not, which is what made him the perfect person to show off the upcoming New 3DS-exclusive port Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, a game we got some hands-on time with yesterday afternoon. What follows is a 24-minute chunk of gameplay we captured, including time spent running around the open world, checking out the new Collection Mode, poking around the skill trees and performing more than a couple of Back Slashes.
