Well, it's not exactly for sale. This amazingly '90s-style (down to the kids' haircuts) toy commercial is really just a clever way to advertise the best picture winner's arrival on Blu-ray and DVD later this week.
The commercial is also poking fun at the grand tradition of kids toys based on movies that are the opposite of child-friendly, like Aliens and Predator. "Just like the movie!" squeaks the young boy (who probably has not seen the movie) in the ad, underneath the '90s typography and cheesy sound effects.
