An HD remaster of a 20-year-old game claimed its space atop the PlayStation Store’s list of best-selling games on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 last month, according to a post today on the PlayStation Blog.
PlayStation Store’s best seller in January was a 20-year-old game

While Resident Evil’s HD remaster took the top spot across both generations of consoles, developer Techland’s Dying Light followed on PS4 while Mojang’s Minecraft took the second slot on PS3. Grand Theft Auto 5 rounded off the top three on both consoles.
In a press release from Capcom today, the developer said that the game is its “fastest selling digital title in history across North America and Europe.”
