Joe Danger is headed to Android devices "real soon," developer Hello Games announced today.
Sockmonkey Studios is helping Hello Games bring the game to the platform, including the diminutive Ouya microconsole. It will require a device with a minimum resolution of 600 pixels and Android version 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or a Kindle Fire device with at least 3.0 hardware.
The Android version is based on its iOS predecessor, Joe Danger Touch. Like that game, it will include 80 levels, leaderboards, pro medals for perfect runs and 29 characters to collect and play.
According to the developer, Joe Danger’s visit to Android will support PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 controllers, the Moga gamepad, the Nvidia Shield and "generic HID/USB" controllers.
Series creator Hello Games is currently working on the mysterious space exploration game No Man’s Sky. To learn more about it, be sure to read our in-depth coverage and watch the video below.
