Legend of Grimrock looks good running on an iPad

The long awaited iPad version of dungeon crawler Legend of Grimrock is nearly here, developer Almost Human said in an update today. To prove it, they offered video of the original Legend of Grimrock running on iOS.

Legend of Grimrock for iOS is now playable from start to finish, the developer says, and is approaching its closed beta testing stage. All that's left is some polish and bug squashing, Almost Human says. You can see how the new touchscreen-based controls work in the video above.

Almost Human's Antti Tiihonen noted that "If the iOS version proves to be a success, we'll consider taking a look at Android too."

The developer also says that Legend of Grimrock 2 is also coming to Mac and is "progressing well." A beta version is expected sometime in February for those who already have the Windows version of the game on Steam.
