Watch the first 40 minutes of Battlefield Hardline's single-player campaign

There's a lot to unpack in the first 40 minutes of Battlefield Hardline's single-player campaign, which EA Access members on Xbox One can check out today ahead of the game's March 17 launch. There's a drug bust that goes sour, a car chase through the streets of Miami, a surveillance mission in a criminal hideout and — in true Battlefield fashion — a segment where you try to protect your wounded partner from a stampede of enemies. Also, the game's very first loading screen is set to "Sound of Da Police" by KRS One, which is pretty terrific.

Check out the gameplay video above to see the entire first chapter of Battlefield Hardline's single-player campaign start-to-finish. EA Access members can play that chapter, as well as the game's multiplayer component, for a total of 10 hours before the game officially launches next week.
