Octodad: Dadliest Catch coming to Wii U, Xbox One this summer

Young Horses' paternal cephalopod stealth sim Octodad: Dadliest Catch is coming to Wii U and Xbox One this summer, the developer has confirmed.

The Xbox One port of the game is being handled and self-published by Young Horses through Microsoft's ID@Xbox program. The version coming to the Wii U eShop is being co-developed with Panic Button Games, which has handled versions of Disney Infinity, Injustice: Gods Among Us and Ms. Splosion Man.

In Octodad: Dadliest Catch, players control an octopus masquerading as a human in a variety of situations that would normally be pretty unusual for an octopus, such as a wedding or the produce section of a supermarket. Hilarity frequently ensues as players struggle to manipulate Octodad's boneless limbs while maintaining his secret identity. For more on the game, read Polygon's review of Dadliest Catch.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is currently available for Linux, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
