In the run up to the DVD, Blu-ray and digital release of Halo: Nightfall, Microsoft has released a clip of the feature-lengh release that you can watch above.

The clip, which is just about three minutes long, follows a surviving unit on the colony planet of Sedra as they are hunted by Lekgolo worms. Left stranded, the group are left to make tough decisions in order to survive. Spoiler alert: A whole bunch of worms eat a guy.

343 Industries first revealed footage of Halo: Nightfall during last year's Comic-Con, ahead of its eventual episodic release to Xbox consoles in November. The Xbox live-action series, which is set between the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, will launch digitally on March 17. Microsoft Studios will be bringing the Halo: Nightfall webseries to DVD and Blu-ray that same day.

Halo: Nightfall tells the origin story of Jameson Locke, a "a legendary manhunter and agent with the Office of Naval Intelligence." The live action series is set between the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5. For more on Nightfall, read our recap of the Halo: Nightfall Comic-Con panel.
