See what awaits when The Elder Scrolls Online relaunches as Tamriel Unlimited

The Elder Scrolls Online relaunches on Tuesday. Here is a launch trailer showcasing all of the new and improved features for what will now be called Tamriel Unlimited.

The video runs through the system changes, additions and upgrades, highlighting some things that were announced as far back as QuakeCon last summer.

The Elder Scrolls Online did not have a glorious first year; while the MMO counts around a million current subscribers, critics were indifferent to much of what it offered (Polygon scored the game a 6.0) and promised launches on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were delayed by a year. They will now launch on June 9.

In January, Zenimax announced it was reconstituting the MMO as The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, ditching the standard subscription model for a one-time fee, while introducing premium subscription options that deliver additional, recurring in-game benefits.
