WWE 2K15 buyers currently get DLC season pass free

If you haven't yet bought WWE 2K15 and are still interested in doing so, now is as good a time as ever, thanks to a special deal from publisher 2K Sports.

WWE 2K15's Showcase Season Pass, the $24.99 package that comes with much of the downloadable content available for the game, is currently free with a purchase of a new retail PlayStation 4 or Xbox One copy. Included in the season pass are three additional 2K Showcase stories as well as a new playable character, the WWE Diva Paige, plus an "accelerator" that unlocks every piece of content on the WWE 2K15 disc.

The free offer is valid in the U.S. at Amazon, Best Buy and GameStop, and in Canada at Amazon Canada and EB Games. It runs from March 15-21 at Amazon and GameStop, March 18-22 at Best Buy, March 21-28 at EB Games and March 22-28 at Amazon Canada. To sweeten the deal, Amazon and GameStop are currently selling WWE 2K15 for $39.99, 33 percent off the retail price.

All that free DLC won't necessarily make WWE 2K15 a better game in our estimation. Our review from last fall, which rated the game a 5.5 out of 10, said that "it fails to fix legacy problems, and its efforts to try something new are largely unsuccessful."
