It's a beautiful day for the apocalypse, come tour H1Z1 with designer Adam Clegg

After January's rocky launch, the team behind zombie-themed online surival game H1Z1 had the rug ripped right out from under them when their studio was sold off. Sony Online Entertainment became Daybreak Game Company virtually overnight. But the team has soldiered on, refining their game with weekly patches and updates. H1Z1 is more stable, and more fun, than ever before.

We caught up with senior game designer Adam Clegg to find out how his team is working to improve the experience for players, and what it's like to work on an early access game that's already proving to be very popular despite its unfinished state. Polygon's initial review can be found here.
