Here's our first look at footage from the live-action Attack on Titan movie

The post-apocalyptic kaiju tale of the bestselling manga and critically acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan has been known to be making its way to a live-action screen adaptation, and now thanks to Dobre Namin, we can get a first look at it.

Not all of the footage in this video is from Attack on Titan, however, which may not be apparent if you don't speak Japanese or if you're unfamiliar with the work of its director, Shinji Higuchi. Higuchi's work includes credits on Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kill la Kill, several Gamera films and a live-action short produced for studio Ghibli, in which a God Monster from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind attacks Tokyo. Clips around the video's :30 second mark belong to Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo. The Titan footage starts at 0:58.
