Oh no: Kourtney doesn't want to be in Kim Kardashian's insanely successful video game

Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.

Kim Kardashian's intolerably successful mobile video game might be bringing along half-siblings Kendall and Kylie Jenner but it won't be featuring Kourtney Kardashian any time soon.

It seems Kourtney is refusing to license her likeness for appearance in Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. The two had a big blowup about it last night on Keeping Up With The Kardashians — didn't you watch? Kim wants Kourtney in the game "as a favor because I've done so much for you." And that is true. Had Kim not made that sex tape with Ray J it's likely we would not give a crap about all these people.

What are Kourtney's terms for appearing? A pair of shoes, evidently. Scott Disick, her partner suggested Kim buy her shoes. Kim had none of that: "'I'm not buying her a fucking pair of shoes, I bought her a fucking career!''

Welp.

Kim Kardashian: Hollywood launched for iOS last summer. The fashion and lifestyle role-playing game may sound just as shallow as the reality series, but we took a look at it and found one of the more progressive games made in the past year. The industry loves it, too; it's predicted to do more than $200 million in sales over its first year.
