It's pretty telling that a trailer with this much footage can still be considered a teaser. This first look at the last James Bond film, Spectre gives us a decent amount of footage and some idea of the story, but it holds the expected shots back.
There are no action scenes on display, no crazy stunts. The tone is darker and a bit understated, which is a good look for Bond. The "kite dancing in a hurricane" line also does a good job of selling the idea that Bond may be a bit out of his depth.
Daniel Craig's take on 007 has added a welcome note of humanity into the character, and it's neat to be this excited about a movie without seeing any of the major setpieces. Compared to the bombast of other franchise trailers lately, this is a nice trend.
