There's a PlayStation 4 bundle out there offering a free PlayStation Camera. This may become important later.

First, the here and now: Best Buy's bundle delivers the PS4, The Last of Us Remastered, and the camera.

Currently, the PlayStation Camera is mostly useful for streaming video of yourself playing a game via Twitch. (It is far, far less useful for features such as scanning your face into NBA 2K15.) But when Project Morpheus, the project codename for PlayStation's VR headset, launches, it will need this camera. So if you have any interest in PlayStation VR gaming, this is a good bet on the future. The camera costs $60 on its own.

Sony has said Morpheus will come to PlayStation in the first six months of 2016.

For more on Morpheus, which Ben Kuchera called "the most comfortable virtual reality headset I have ever worn," see this hands-on preview from Game Developers Conference 2015.
