"Six seasons and a movie!" has long been the battle cry of Dan Harmon's offbeat and seemingly unkillable sitcom Community. That goal has come terrifyingly, thrillingly close to fruition with this trailer for the show's sixth season, which has been transported from the show's birthplace on NBC to the Yahoo Screen service.
It's pretty obvious Yahoo isn't trying to build a new audience, as this nearly three minutes of non-sequiturs, bizarre costumes and slasher movie editing is likely incomprehensible to the unconverted. But in the estimation of the fans on our staff, if you don't count the absence of non-returning star Yvette Nicole Brown as Shirley, it's pretty much perfect.
The sixth season of Community streams for free on Yahoo Screen. New episodes are set to appear on Tuesdays beginning March 17.
