Square Enix's version of Star Wars isn't messing around

If Square Enix had its way with Star Wars, Boba Fett, Darth Vader and your everyday Stormtrooper would be a much more fearsome force than what we've come to know over the years. Did we say if? We mean when.

As part of the Star Wars Variant Play Arts Kai line, Square Enix reimagined all three characters. While Boba Fett and Darth Vader have a sleeker, detailed design, the new Stormtroopers look downright menacing. That is a much more serious frowney face.

Each figure will set you back 12,960 yen, or about $108. You can view the figures below, or check them out in full on the Amiami website. Other Variant Play Arts Kai figures include a ninja-esque Iron Man and Final Fantasy designer Tetsuya Nomura's take on Batman and Catwoman.
