Marvel's new Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer showcases robots, explosions and a few surprises

Marvel Entertainment may have held this new trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron hostage until we all tweeted #AvengersAssemble enough times, but the joke's on them because ... we, uh, totally did. And has it got some goodies.

The unexpected return of one of The Avengers's notable MacGuffins, hints at alignments (and romances?) between characters, and even a stinger reveal of the one character we've seen very little of so far.

On the off chance that you haven't already made plans for a movie that doesn't come out until May 1, you might be interested in a particular charity fundraiser that Robert "Tony Stark, Father of Ultron" Downey, Jr. is throwing. Donate $10 or more to Julia's House, a children's hospice, and there's a chance that you and a friend could win an activity-packed trip to Los Angeles to walk the red carpet and chill out with RDJ at the Ultron premiere.

Downey promises to "awesome the hell" out of the winner, and now that he's said it out loud on the internet, he's gotta deliver.
