At an Unreal Engine presentation given by Tim Sweeney at this year's GDC, Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang made a surprise appearance and a surprise announcement, unveiling the company's new Titan X graphics card.
Nvidia is calling the Titan X, which has 12 GB of RAM, "the most advanced GPU ever." Before giving the first Titan X to Sweeney, Huang promised more information at the upcoming GTC event put on by Nvidia, and teased that the card would be launching very soon.
Sweeney implied that Titan X had been developed specifically for the oncoming rush of VR software and the considerable technological demands of said titles.
