DmC: Devil May Cry is getting a Definitive Edition remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One tomorrow, and it edits out a piece of suggestive dialogue between two evil characters.
Eurogamer spotted the editing in a conversation between the antagonist demon Mundus and his demon mistress Lilith. The original conversation went like this (it's also depicted above, with subtitles.)
Mundus: "I will control the world through debt. I have absolute power."
Lilith: "The world is at last your bitch, as am I. Nothing left but to grab it by the hair, bend it over and —"
The Definitive Edition cuts Lilith's line at "bitch," taking out her submissive come-on.
Developer Ninja Theory denied it was censoring its game. The studio's chief creative director told Eurogamer that "frankly, we didn't like the line," and called the cut dialogue "irrelevant to the scene."
Ninja Theory added a new cutscene that wasn't finished in time for the original game, too. Eurogamer compiled a video of the graphics and changes between the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the DmC: Devil May Cry. See it at the link.
