Lucas from Mother 3 is coming to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced during a Nintendo Direct presentation today. Lucas will join his EarthBound brethren Ness in the fighting game sometime this June, after the release of the game's other confirmed downloadable fighter Mewtwo.
Lucas previously appeared as a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii.
