Game of Thrones' latest episode is free to watch on Xbox 360 and Xbox One though Thursday, April 16, as long as you're an Xbox Live subscriber.
According to an Xbox Wire post, season five's first episode isn't the only thing Xbox users can watch.
"And if that’s not enough to get you ready for Season 5," the post reads, "HBO and Xbox have joined forces to bring you a variety of Game of Thrones content in a special experience available this week when you sign into Xbox Live. Preview Season 5 with trailers, pledge your allegiance to a house, go behind the scenes with on-set tours, and test your Westeros knowledge with trivia questions asked by Game of Thrones cast members."
Game of Thrones season five premiered last night, April 12, on HBO. As always, it's available to those who subscribe to HBO through their cable or satellite provider. The HBO Go app lets HBO subscribers watch on their Xbox consoles and other devices like Apple TV, Android phones and tablets, PlayStations and Roku set-top boxes.
Those with Apple devices or a PC can also sign up for HBO Now, the premium channel's new service that allows you to subscribe to HBO outside of a cable or satellite provider. Those who sign up now will get a 30-day free trial.
