The Nintendo 3DS crossover role-playing game co-created by Bandai Namco, Capcom and Sega, Project X Zone, is getting a sequel later this year. Bandai Namco will release Project X Zone 2: Brave New World this fall, bringing together more characters from Resident Evil, Virtua Fighter, Tales of Vesperia, Mega Man and more.
The original Project X Zone featured a wide variety of characters lifted from series like Street Fighter, Valkyria Chronicles, Tekken, Devil May Cry, Space Channel 5, .hack and other Capcom, Sega and Namco franchises. The sequel will expand the games that the tactical RPG draws from. According to a new trailer, Project X Zone 2 will feature characters from Yakuza: Dead Souls, Strider, Shinobi, Soul Calibur 5 and many more.
Developer Monolith Soft will develop the sequel for Bandai Namco.
