Finnish urban planning game Cities: Skylines has sold a million copies since launch, according to publisher Paradox.
The company announced the landmark today, adding that the game attracts an average 21,000 concurrent players on Steam, and has spawned 33,000 mods. Cities: Skylines was launched in early March, and quickly found favor among fantasy city-builders and modders.
"We continue to be amazed at just how players have embraced Cities: Skylines," said Paradox CEO Fredrik Wester. "The game is still selling at a steady pace, which is remarkable for a game that has been on sale for well over a month. "
