The latest Humble Bundle pay-what-you-want promotion offers a bunch of Electronic Arts-published games for a very low price. For less than $5, buyers can score PC versions of Dragon Age: Origins, Peggle, Dead Space 2, Command & Conquer Generals and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, plus its two expansions, Spearhead and Breakthrough, through the Humble Origin Bundle 2.
Humble Bundle buyers who pay more than the average asking price — currently around $4.50 — will get access to even more games: Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, Dragon Age 2, Bejeweled 3 and Mass Effect 2. More titles will be added to the EA Humble Bundle soon, according to the page.
The bundle's games are all redeemable through EA's Origin service, while a few are redeemable through Steam.
Proceeds from Humble Origin Bundle 2 sales won't go to EA. Instead, buyers can choose one of three charities to contribute to: Girls Who Code, which encourages women to pursue education in computer science; The V Foundation for cancer research; and buildOn, which works to address global poverty and education. Bundle buyers can also tip the Humble organization as part of their purchase.
The Humble Origin Bundle 2 runs for the next two weeks. More than 25,000 bundles have already been sold.
