Project Cars, the oft-delayed racing game from developer Slightly Mad Studios, will be released May 8, according to a tweet this week from publisher Bandai Namco's U.K. Twitter account.
We've contacted Banda Namco's U.S. representatives to see what regions that date applies to and will update this story with more information as it becomes available.
Project Cars was originally scheduled for a November 2014 release. Slightly Mad Studios, veterans of Need for Speed: Shift, delayed it three times from its original 2014 release window. Project Cars will be released first on PS4, Xbox One and PC with a Wii U version to follow.

Update: A Bandai Namco representative told Polygon that Project Cars "will be available in the Americas May 6th on PC and May 12th for PS4 and Xbox One."
