Everybody's Gone to the Rapture set for summer release

This new trailer for PlayStation 4 exclusive Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is yet another reason to get really excited about this game. Released today, the trailer announced that the game will arrive this summer.

Created by The Chinese Room, maker of Dear Esther, its open world story takes place in a small English village during an apocalyptic event in the early 1980s.

The trailer is a small slice of the game's story and its soundtrack. And it's definitely not your average game trailer. Based on a single shot, there's no sight of humans. Just detritus and character voice overs.

"We've got a lot of beautiful world to show you," said The Chinese Room's Dan Pinchbeck on the PlayStation Blog. "But we wanted to go small and intimate with this one, be a bit different with it."

The next level of puzzles.
