The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is making its way to the New nintendo 3DS, Wii U and Xbox One "soon," according to an update from developer Edmund McMillen. The game will not be compatible with the original 3DS nor with the 2DS, according to the developer.
Rebirth is the 2014 reworked version of the original 2011 game. It includes new characters, items and a new chapter. The game has players taking on the role of Isaac, the unfortunate son of a crazy zealot who locks him in the basement after receiving a message from God. The game plays as a top down roguelike. Our own Philip Kollar wrote that it was his most played game of the year.
