This War of Mine's DLC has helped 350 refugees from Syria, all of them children

This War of Mine, a warzone survival simulator told from the civilian perspective, has just one more day left in its War Child Charity DLC offer. So far, sales have earned enough money to help 350 refugees from the conflict in Syria, all of them children.

War Child DLC adds unique pieces from well-known artists throughout the game world. Players can purchase the add-on for as little as $0.99, or as much as $19.99. Developer 11 bit studios promises 100 percent of the proceeds will go to War Child, a U.K.-based non-profit.

"Right now War Child are working in places across Iraq and Jordan to protect and support Syrian refugee children," 11 bit wrote in a press release. "We’re honored to announce that support from the TWoM DLC campaign can provide the following support for 350 children: psycho-social support to recover from trauma, child friendly spaces to make sure War Child can reach a child before someone else does, informal education: school fees, livelihood support, teacher training and others."

The War Child Charity DLC drive goes through April 3, and 11 bit says it has more charitable actions yet to come. You can see more on the results of the sale in the infographic below, as well as Polygon's Overview of the game.

The critically acclaimed title was successful for the small Polish team, earning back its development costs in just two days of sales on Steam. It was nominated for this year's Independent Games Festival Seumas McNally Grand Prize, presented at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco last month where the team also gave a presentation.
