George R.R. Martin releases a new chapter from The Winds of Winter

The Winds of Winter is the latest book in George R.R. Martin's ongoing A Song of Ice and Fire series, which pop culture fans may know a bit better as Game of Thrones.

The book won't see release until 2016, and we know the show will soon catch up and in fact move past the books, but for now fans of the written version of the tale have something to keep them warm at night: a new chapter from the upcoming book, from Sansa's point of view.

I'm not sure we have to say that it continues spoilers, since it's ... you know ... the book, but here we are. I've been lucky enough to see the first few episodes of the upcoming season, and it's nearly impossible to read even part of the book without comparing and contrasting the decisions the show has made.

We'll talk more of that later, however. For now go and have your appetites whetted.
