Batman v Superman posters show the best of frenemies

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder revealed a pair of posters for the upcoming movie on Twitter this weekend, and you can see them both below.

The posters — in which the iconic logos of each hero invade the other's artwork — evoke what's sure to be a big part of the movie: the conflict between two heroes who'd ostensibly be on the same side of the battle between good and evil.

Snyder included hashtags tweeted with both images to promote the special IMAX screening events taking place today. You can find out how to get tickets to watch the movie's trailer on the big, big screen in our previous coverage.

This isn't the first time Snyder used Twitter to tease a project. Not long ago, he revealed Aquaman's new look. No joke: He looks awesome.

For more on the movie, which stars Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader and Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, you can watch its recent trailer below the posters. It blazes a pricklier path than its comic cousins over at Marvel.

Batman v Superman is slated for a March 25, 2016 release.
