Lots of folks were skeptical at the idea of a modern, computer-animated adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's 1943 novel, even though the book has had several musical, stage and film adaptations over the years.
A cast that includes Jeff Bridges, Marion Cotillard, James Franco, Benicio del Toro, Ricky Gervais and Paul Giamatti may have assuaged some of those fears. It's likely that this beautiful trailer, showing off a masterful mix of digital and stop-motion animation, has dispelled even more.
Oh, and pass the tissues.
