Abigail Breslin and Arnold Schwarzenegger star in the upcoming film Maggie, the story of a rural family torn apart by a viral zombie outbreak and the quarantine designed to protect both them and their neighbors.
Breslin's Maggie has caught a hideous infection with an uncertain cure. In the movie's official trailer we see her father, played by Schwarzenegger, picking her up from the hospital to live out her final few weeks at home before being turned over to a mandatory quarantine camp.
The new clip shows us the barest sliver of a relationship between Maggie and her father.
Many have been struck by Maggie's similarity to The Last of Us. It should come as no surprise then to learn that its director Henry Hobson, also designed and directed the title sequence for that game.
Maggie will be in theaters and on demand in the U.S. starting May 8, according to the official site.
